Since I was a kid, I always wanted to figure out how things worked and how to repair them. Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have a grandfather that was a carpenter and 3 retired neighbors that liked to impart their years of wisdom on an eager listener. Those four men taught me a lot about fixing things. I think the most valuable lessons they taught me were about patience, listening, reasoning, and attitude. If I had the patience to listen, then I could use reason to come up with a solution and a positive attitude to get it done. Those experiences combined with the six years I served in the Marine Corps reserves have cemented a can-do attitude, attention to detail mentality, and the importance of accountability into my life.
My wife, Sheila, and I are high school sweethearts and have been married 28 years. We have five children, three that are grown and two that still have a way to go. Having a big family has been a blessing but it also meant that time, money, and space were always tight. The way we dealt with the money and space issue was to do all our repairs and remodels ourselves. We have done a bit of everything over the years and have gotten really good at time management and staying on budget. Unfortunately, we still haven't figured out how to make more time.
I have used all of these lessons to continue learning and honing my skills in my personal and professional life. I have spent the last 29 years working in the communications industry doing troubleshooting, repair, and installation. When faced with a possible layoff I decided to go into business for myself and make all of my skills and experience available to those who might need them. I look forward to meeting and helping you with your household needs!
